Virtual Gatherings

We meet on Zoom to learn, grow, and hold each other accountable in our work. Our virtual gatherings include:

  • Generative workshops on learning about the land we’re living on (soil, beings, stewardship history, etc.)

  • Reflection and discussion around themes of: ancestors, ritual, homeland

  • Grounding exercises and guided movement explorations

  • Community-building activities

The next virtual gathering will be a generative workshop on learning Indigenous histories and presents, facilitated by the Landing team. It will take place on Sunday, July 14 from 7-7:45pm CT. Description below!

To join us, please fill out our interest form, and you will receive the Zoom link and a schedule of gatherings!

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION: This basic workshop is oriented specifically for settlers/non-Indigenous folks who are not very plugged into Indigenous justice work and want to get started.

Who are the Indigenous peoples who have stewarded the land you now live on? This week’s gathering will be a generative workshop oriented towards learning about the histories and present circumstances of the peoples Indigenous to the lands we live on. It will feel like a guided, focused, collective work session to do some basic research together, finding the names of Indigenous nations, their histories, their present statuses, their active projects, and ways into relationality. We will compile a collective document that can be the start of continued learning and work.
